Lightwood Golf Driving Range

Originally opened by Archie Sherwin as a 12 bay Range, Lightwood Golf has stood the test of time. You’re always sure of a friendly welcome – from toddlers to seniors, where you can hire baskets of golf balls and clubs to use to suit your time and practice requirements in all weather conditions (half the bays are under cover) whether its morning, noon or evening (under floodlights).

You can enjoy a quiet pint (or glass of wine) in the small bar after your practice session. We provide a club fitting session and also a re-grip facility, and we can arrange tuition if you require – just ask either Pete or Gaz. So come along and enjoy the facilities!
